Upper Cape Cod BPW Bulletin
October 2009

President's Letter

As we welcome Fall and the glorious colors which this season brings to life, let us not fall down as many colorful leaves, but rise to the occasion and continue to support not only our local women, but women on the State, National and World levels.

October 19-23, 2009 is National Business Women’s Week and the Cranberry District will be celebrating this event by honoring Women of Achievement at the October 21, 2009 event which is to be held at Alberto’s Restaurant in Hyannis, MA. The Upper Cape Cod local is pleased to be honoring Susan Avery as our Woman of Achievement.

On October 31, 2009 the State Fall Board is to be held at the U of Mass Medical School campus in Worcester MA. I wish to encourage all who are able, to attend as this is a very important meeting for all members and our future.

I attended the Cranberry District Meeting which was held on September 30, 2009 and my report with regards to this meeting is enclosed.

I sincerely hope to see one and all on October 21st as we extend our congratulations and support to women and their many accomplishments.

Betty
