Upper Cape Cod BPW Bulletin

President's Letter

Our February meeting was a great success due to the very informative and interactive program which was presented by Jenn Kano. We received many good tips with regards to establishing and maintaining good health. Thank you Jen.

Spring will be arriving this month and in a very timely manner our speaker for our March Dinner meeting is to be Michael Talbot from Talbot Ecological Land Care in Mashpee. Please invite a guest as this information will benefit all who live on and in the area of Cape Cod.

Our new dinner menu was a great success and please continue to notify Rosemarie Colella that you will be attending in order that your name tags and your guests names are made available for the monthly meetings.

Our updated news from both BPW/MA and BPW/Foundation has been a welcome relieve after many months of much discussion. I am very hopeful that this will serve as a huge stepping stone and put all local and state members on a universal platform in order to continue to improve and advance opportunities for all women. I anticipate bringing back to the local further information after attending the State Winter Board on March 13th 2010 in Worcester, MA. I look forward to seeing all of you on St. Patrick’s Day March 17, 2010!!

I hope to see all of you at our February meeting and please bring a guest as all are welcome.

Betty

Dinner Reservations Update
It was agreed at the March 3, 2010 Board Meeting that due to the current menu that is being used by our membership that should you make a reservation for the Dinner Meeting and find that you are unable to attend, you will no longer be charged for that meal. PLEASE NOTE: This only applies as long as we are continuing to use the standard menu being issued at the Coonamessett should we refer back to using a selection of one of two choices this would revert back to your being charged as once the count is called in we are liable for that number of meals to be paid. At this time please call Rosemarie Colella and let her know that you will be attending in order that she is able to provide your names tags and any other necessary information. It is not necessary that you pay for your dinner prior to the night of the Dinner Meeting please bring either a check made out to the UCC/BPW or cash in the amount of $25.00 to the Dinner Meeting.
